All curriculum content, translations, and process documentation published on this site is released under the MIT License. You may copy, modify, redistribute, and build upon it for any purpose — including commercial use — provided the copyright notice and license terms are preserved.

2. Engineering Disclaimer
Nothing on this site constitutes licensed structural engineering advice. Sovereign Engineering content is educational and translational. The Process Library and Technical Library describe historical and peer-reviewed methodologies, but they are not engineering drawings, calculations, or stamped opinions for any specific project.
Any structure — physical or otherwise — built or modified using these methods must be designed, reviewed, and signed off by a state-registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensed in your jurisdiction. The coursework on this site prepares students for those licensure exams; it does not in itself confer licensure.
3. Code, Permits, and Inspections
Sovereign methods (geopolymer concrete, adobe, qanat, heavy masonry) frequently fall outside the prescriptive paths of the International Building Code. That does not make them illegal — it makes them performance-based. They are legitimate when designed under an engineer's alternative materials provisions and accepted by the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
We strongly encourage any practitioner using these techniques to engage a licensed SE early in the project. Proving the science is the easy part. Permitting the build is the hard part.
4. Professional Liability & Insurance
Zeric.tech operates as an educational publisher, not an engineering firm. We carry Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance for content published on this site. Practitioners using our content in professional deliverables carry their own professional liability for the work product they produce.
5. Privacy
Authentication uses PayPal OAuth. We store your PayPal subject ID, display name, and email. Subscription state is recorded to verify Technical Lab access. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Analytics, when enabled, will use a privacy-focused, cookieless tool.
6. Reporting Errors
Found an engineering error in our translations, examples, or commentary? It matters. Open an issue on the GitHub repository or email legal@zeric.tech. Verified corrections are credited and patched in the next site release.
